Foundation of Power
Foundation of Power is centred around the relationship between the notion of whiteness and the constructs of power in society. Looking at the founding of civilisation in Ancient Greece, to the Roman Empire and its agency on the modern world. Questioning the influence of architecture, form and history which navigates and informs the sphere of politics, power and race. The works juxtaposes the contemporary visual landscape and the photographic archive, objects which construct white ideological discourse and the power structures within those frameworks.
